Prairie Pug Inc. is a licensed 501(c)3 non-profit Rescue located in NE Kansas. We have been finding loving homes for homeless Pugs since 1997. Staffed strictly by volunteers, we are always looking for dedicated Pug lovers to assist us. Each Pug we get is thoroughly vetted prior to going to their new home. We attempt to match each applicant to the Pug desired, and each pug to the right applicant to satisfy both. Donations let us exist and help homes find their desired pet and to maintain the health of the pug while in waiting for their forever home.

PPRA (Precious Pugs Rescue and Adoption) is an all volunteer rescue organization dedicated to helping pugs. PPRA was started in January 1999 by the Malgieri family to help pugs in need. Since its inception in January 1999, PPRA helped over 600 pugs. We network with other pug and non-pug rescue organizations in the Northeast and across the U.S. Additionally, we have
helped pugs as far away as Alabama and Oregon!! PPRA has many members located throughout the tri-state area (NY/NJ/Conn) and some members in Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Vermont.
